OCR PDF text search

Scans every page (including scanned/image-only pages with no selectable text) so you can search for a word or phrase.

PDF to Word

Extracts the real text where the PDF has it, and runs OCR automatically on scanned/image-only pages. Works best for simple, single-column documents — complex layouts, tables, and multi-column text won't be preserved exactly.

PDF to PowerPoint

Each page becomes one slide, rendered as a full-page image — layout, fonts, and graphics come out exactly as they look in the PDF. Runs entirely in your browser.

PDF to Excel

Reconstructs rows and columns from the PDF’s own text spacing, and runs OCR automatically on scanned/image-only pages. Works best for simple, clearly-aligned tables — free-form text near a table may get split oddly.

PDF to JPG

Each page becomes a .jpg image. Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Multiple pages are zipped together for download.

PDF to HTML

Produces one self-contained .html file — an image of each page with an invisible text layer on top, so it looks exactly like the PDF but the text stays selectable, searchable (Ctrl/Cmd+F), and copyable. Runs entirely in your browser.

How to convert PowerPoint to PDF online

  1. Choose the .pptx file you want to convert.
  2. Pick a conversion mode: higher fidelity (uploaded to a server, matches the original design exactly) or in your browser, text only (private, but no layout/images).
  3. Click Convert to PDF.
  4. Download the resulting PDF.

Why convert with VitePDF

  • Higher-fidelity mode renders every slide exactly as designed — backgrounds, images, fonts, layout.
  • A private, text-only fallback is available for when you just need the words and nothing leaves your device.
  • No account, no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't there a full private browser mode, like some of your other tools?

Rendering a slide deck's actual design (layouts, images, fonts, positioning) requires a real presentation engine — there isn't a reliable way to do that inside a browser tab. The text-only browser mode is offered as a private fallback, but it can't reproduce the visual design.

Is my file safe when using the higher-fidelity mode?

Your file is uploaded to a conversion server to render it, the same way any online converter with real PowerPoint rendering works, and isn't retained after conversion.

Does the text-only mode preserve slide order?

Yes — each slide becomes its own page in the same order as the original deck, just as plain text.
