白黒印刷したいだけならこれは必要ですか？

ファイルは小さくなりますか？

必ずしもそうとは限りません。すべてのページが画像化されるため、元々小さく効率的なテキストが中心だった文書は、見た目はシンプルになっても、グレースケールのJPEGページとしてはむしろ大きくなることがあります。カラー画像の多いPDFほど縮小しやすい傾向にあります。

その後もテキストを選択・検索できますか？
