What does sanitizing a PDF remove?

Will my links and forms still work?
Ordinary web links and fillable form fields are kept. Only risky actions — scripts, launching programs and submitting data — are removed.
Is this a full security scan or antivirus?
No. It removes the common active content that PDFs can carry, but it does not detect malware. Treat files from untrusted sources with care. Your original files are never modified.
What about password-protected PDFs?
They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDFs are sanitized entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
