Does every file get numbered the same way?
Yes — you pick the position and format once, and every PDF you add gets numbered the same way, each restarting from page 1 of that file. It's built for keeping a consistent numbering style across a batch of documents, like exhibits or reports.
Can I number pages on rotated or scanned PDFs?
Yes — numbering accounts for each page's own rotation, so the number reads upright and in the correct corner even on pages that were scanned sideways or rotated.
What formats are available?
Plain numbers (1, 2, 3…), "Page 1", "Page 2"…, or "1 of 12", "2 of 12"… — each file's total is calculated from its own page count.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 140 MB each are free — Premium removes that limit entirely.
