Frequently asked questions

What happens to pages that are not Letter-shaped?

They are scaled up or down, without distortion, to fit inside Letter and are centered, leaving blank margins on the shorter sides. Pages that are wider than tall become Letter landscape.

Will links and form fields still work?

No. Each page is placed on a new Letter sheet as fixed content, so clickable links, form fields and annotations are not kept. Text stays crisp and selectable.

What happens to my original files?

They are never modified. You download new Letter copies.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are resized entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
