Why batch resize PDFs to A4 with VitePDF

  • Get a whole folder of mixed Letter, A3, scanned or custom-size documents ready to print in one go, instead of resizing each file by hand.

  • Nothing is cropped: each page is scaled to fit inside A4 with its proportions kept, so all of its content stays visible.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to pages that are not A4-shaped?

They are scaled up or down, without distortion, to fit inside A4 and are centered, leaving blank margins on the shorter sides. Pages that are wider than tall become A4 landscape.

Will links and form fields still work?

No. Each page is placed on a new A4 sheet as fixed content, so clickable links, form fields and annotations are not kept. Text stays crisp and selectable.

What happens to my original files?

They are never modified. You download new A4 copies.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are resized entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
