How to remove blank pages from PDFs in batch

  1. Drop in every PDF you want to clean up.
  2. Review the list of files.
  3. Click Remove blank pages. Each file is checked and cleaned one at a time, right in your browser. The page count before and after is shown for every file.
  4. Download one cleaned file, or click Download all (ZIP) to get everything at once.

Why batch remove blank pages with VitePDF

  • Clean up a whole folder of exports, merged files or print-ready documents in one go, instead of deleting empty pages by hand.
  • Nothing is uploaded — your documents never leave your device.
  • Only genuinely empty pages are deleted, so your real content, links and forms stay exactly as they were.

Frequently asked questions

How does it decide that a page is blank?

A page is blank when it has no text, no images or graphics, no drawn shapes and no annotations. Pages that contain only invisible leftovers, such as spaces or empty drawing instructions, count as blank.

Does it remove blank scanned pages?

No. A scanned page is a picture, so it always contains an image even if it looks white. Those pages are kept to avoid deleting anything by mistake.

What happens to my original files?

They are never modified. You download new copies. If a file has no blank pages, or every page is blank, it is returned unchanged.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
