Why batch keep odd or even pages with VitePDF

  • Separate the fronts from the backs of duplex scans, or prepare a stack for double-sided printing, across a whole folder in one pass.
  • Nothing is uploaded — your documents never leave your device.
  • The pages you keep stay exactly as they were, with text, images and links intact.

Frequently asked questions

Which pages count as odd and even?

Odd pages are 1, 3, 5 and so on; even pages are 2, 4, 6 and so on, counted from the first page of each file. A file with a single page has no even pages.

Can I get both sets?

Yes. Run the tool once with odd pages and once with even pages and download both results. Each run gives every file a new name ending in -odd or -even.

Can I process password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. A file that needs a password to open is reported as locked — remove the password first with the batch unlock tool, then process it.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
