Why batch change the page size with VitePDF

  • Bring a whole folder of documents to the same paper size in one go, instead of resizing each file separately.
  • Nothing is uploaded — your documents never leave your device.
  • Pages are scaled to fit and centred — nothing is cropped — and text stays sharp and selectable.

Frequently asked questions

Will my content be cropped or stretched?

No. Each page is scaled proportionally to fit the chosen size and centred, so nothing is cropped or distorted. If the proportions differ, you will see blank margins.

Will the text stay sharp and selectable?

Yes. Pages are placed as vector content rather than turned into pictures, so text stays sharp and selectable. Links and form fields are not carried over, though.

Can I convert password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. A file that needs a password to open is reported as locked — remove the password first with the batch unlock tool, then convert it.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
