Why batch add page borders with VitePDF

  • Give a whole folder of documents the same frame in one go, instead of editing each file separately.
  • Nothing is uploaded — your documents never leave your device.
  • Non-destructive: the border is drawn on top of each page, so text stays selectable and the original content is unchanged.

Frequently asked questions

Will the border cover my content?

The border is a thin line drawn at the margin you choose, on top of the page. If your content reaches the edge, increase the margin or reduce the thickness so the line does not overlap important parts.

What thickness and margin can I use?

Thickness from 0.5 to 10 points and a margin from 0 to 50 mm from the page edge. The line is solid and uses the colour you pick.

Does it work on pages of different sizes?

Yes. The border is calculated for each page separately, so pages with different sizes or orientations each get a frame at the same distance from their own edges.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
