How to add margins to PDF pages in batch

Frequently asked questions

Does it shrink my content to make room?

No. Each page is made larger by the margin on every side, so the original content keeps its exact size and position. The pages simply become bigger, for example an A4 page with a 10 mm margin becomes 230 × 317 mm.

How big can the margin be?

From 1 to 100 mm, added equally to the top, bottom, left and right of every page.

Does it work on pages of different sizes?

Yes. The margin is added to each page separately, so pages of different sizes or orientations each keep their own proportions and simply grow by the same amount.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
