Why make PDFs 2-up in batch with VitePDF

  • Halve the sheets needed to print a whole folder of handouts, slides or reports in one go, instead of setting up each file by hand.
  • Nothing is uploaded — your documents never leave your device.
  • Nothing is cropped: each page is scaled to fit inside its half with proportions kept, so all of its content stays visible.

Frequently asked questions

What if my pages have different sizes?

Each page is scaled up or down, without distortion, to fit its half of the sheet and is centered there, so mixed sizes and orientations all line up.

Will links and form fields still work?

No. Each page is placed on a new sheet as fixed content, so clickable links, form fields and annotations are not kept. Text stays crisp and selectable.

What happens to my original files?

They are never modified. You download new 2-up copies.

What about password-protected PDFs?

They are flagged and skipped. Remove the password first with Batch unlock PDF, then edit them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are processed entirely in your browser tab, so they never leave your device.
